Would you like to grow deeper in your faith journey? Come, Listen, Live is an opportunity to enter more deeply into our faith by reflecting on a presentation, then sharing with others our own experiences of faith and life. We meet twice a month via Zoom, reflecting on a different topic each time and receiving some spiritual guidance.
We sometimes develop misconceptions about our faith. Come, Listen, Live might bring some clarity to our understanding of our faith. Past topics such as “Solitude & Silence”, and “The Woman at the Well” allow us to come to live in the freedom of Christ and live our full potential, understanding more deeply our baptismal calling. So we allow God to form us as Disciples of Jesus.
Sometimes we invite a guest speaker. Sometimes we might reflect on a video, as in a recent session about “God’s Dreaming” – in the Aboriginal Dreaming style. We might use material from prominent contemporary theologians and speakers such as Fr Ron Rolheiser and Fr Richard Rohr (”Who do you say I am?”) Our material often is inspired by the current Sunday’s Gospel or lyrics from a hymn or song. Or we may begin with a quote from the Saint featured in that day’s Church calendar.
We invite you to Come, Listen, Live with us and see how the Holy Spirit inspires you to grow in faith.
