Angie Jackman, St Paul’s School parent: I am a parent of children attending St Paul’s primary and St Bede’s college. I have joined the Safeguarding Team to support the parish in developing appropriate protocols for protecting us all — including children and all other parishioners who serve alongside children and young people. I also believe this work is important for the protection and longevity of the Catholic Church more broadly. We must earn a new reputation for being professional, proactive, and particularly respectful in this space.
