I'm Fr Malcolm Crawford. I was born in 1938, growing up in Brighton have served Christ throughout Melbourne and overseas. Ordained a Priest in 1965, I served as an Assistant Priest for 14 years at parishes St Peters Bentleigh East, St Mary’s Altona, St Monica’s Moonee Ponds, St Patricks Murraumbeena and St Carthege’s Parkville. I then travelled and spent 3 years in a community for Reconciliation in Belfast Northern Ireland and helped in a parish in North Belfast, followed by a 1987 term in Jerusalem on a scripture course. On my return home I served at Holy Eucharist South St Albans, St Thomas Mores Mt Eliza, 8 years at St Marks Fawkner, 6 years at St Finbards East Brighton, enjoying a wonderful Golden Jubilee celebration in 2015. I retired in 2016 and came to live at St Kilda, helping out in chaplaincy at Fitzroy, Sacred Heart Mission in St Kilda and Holy Trinity Parish.
