I am Fr Michael Morgan. Born on 1/1/1939 I grew up in Preston where all my family were active members of Sacred Heart Parish. I was successively educated by the Good Samaritan Sisters in the parish school to grade 8, at St. Colman’s Central School for one year by Brother Bowler and completed secondary education at St. Patrick’s College, East Melbourne, with the Jesuit Fathers In 1956 ( Melbourne’s Olympic Year ). Tertiary education was for 8 years at Corpus Christi Seminary directed by the Jesuit Fathers. I was ordained priest on 25/7/1964. Having served in a number of parishes in our Archdiocese until retirement in 2016. I have been happily assisting in parishes where invited to provide liturgical and pastoral services. I happily declare that I’m not so much retired as “recycled”!
