In the same way, let your light shine before others,
so that they may see your good works and give glory
to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society. St Vincent de Paul’s example of generosity and leadership provides a great light for us during this difficult COVID-19 time. Anyone at any time might need the support of Vinnies. If you or someone you know, Catholic or non-Catholic, would like assistance from the St Vincent de Paul Society please call 1800 305 330.
We welcome new volunteers. By volunteering you can be sure you’re making a difference for those in need. This is a chance to give something back to the community, to use your skills and experience to make a difference in the lives of people who are most in need of assistance in a supportive environment. There is more information on volunteering on the Vinnies website.
You are also welcome to donate over the phone using a credit card by calling 13 18 12. Donors can allocate donations to a specific conference by giving the name of the conference over the phone e.g. East Bentleigh Conference or Moorabbin /Bentleigh Conference.
The Holy Trinity Parish have been a great support enabling members to continue the work St Vincent de Paul started, providing support for people who are experiencing disadvantage and poverty in our local communities– thank you for caring so much.
